This former farmhouse is located at 334 West Brookhaven Road. It was built in the 1820's by Abraham Cobourn and was the residence for a dairy farm run by his descendants. A survey done by the VVPA in 1936 states a smaller original house was erected circa 1807 and later housed a private school run by Tracey Cobourn. The property stayed in the family until 1953-nine generations of Coboums occupying the land and six generations living in the dwelling. Brookhaven Road, laid out in 1847, follows the original lane connecting this house to Edgmont Avenue at Sneath's Comers. In recent years, the house was converted to a duplex by its current owner, Joseph Yorke.
