We are asking not only our residents, but everyone to please refrain from using their cell phones while driving through Brookhaven unless it’s an extreme emergency.

Cell phones are a distraction while driving and could cause an accident.  The life you save could be your own!

Mayor's Safety Message

The Mayor has requested that all residents please refrain from using their cell phones or texting while driving through the Borough of Brookhaven unless it’s an extreme emergency.  It is well documented that cell phone usage while driving is a distraction could lead to an accident.  Please drive safely.
